Sales Executive Retail Netherlands

Our customer's integrated software solutions and services are used daily by some 1,200 cinemas and leisure attractions, 1,500 pubs, bars, restaurants and hotels and 450 leisure centres and many high profile clients in the manufacturing, transport and retail sectors. Clients are currently spread across more than 20 countries.

The company's solutions approach is centered on an ERP system for multi-operational groups. Central, allied with a series of market-specific software solutions, allows multi-site businesses to orchestrate their operations with greater efficiency, profitability, control and security.

To strenghten the European Retail team, we are looking for a (senior) Sales Executive, with sound knowledge of the retail market and software licences.

The key challenges of this position will include but are not limited to:

  • Responsible for selling software licences in The Netherlands.
  • Working in a largely autonomous role, the Sales Executive will operate at senior level, with strong drive and focus building new relationships and business at the highest level.
  • Reports to Director EMEA.

 

THE CANDIDATE

Language:            Fluent in Dutch and English

 

Experience:

  • At least 10 years experience in a sales focused role with at least 5 years gained in retail software solutions.
  • Strong track record in developing new business and account management at executive level, with deal sizes in excess of $1m.
  • Demonstrable track record of selling multi-year annuity contracts, particularly in Retail Software.
  • Demonstrable ability to be successful in a matrix organization, to enlist support and commitment from peers in selling and delivering to clients.
  • Experience in several markets, but proven track record in retail is a must.
