It's Energy practise has a deep understanding of information management services, appreciation of the business drivers of the industry, commitment to innovation and a proven global delivery model. Based on these assets our client offers services and solutions to the Energy industry beyond the generic staff-augmentation services. The company helps Oil and Gas firms address complexity through solutions which can effectively collect data from oil wells to retail outlets, integrate different parts of value chain to increase transparency and finally provide tools and solutions to effectively analyze data.

For it's largest global account, Shell, our client is looking for an IT Consultant Production Engineering

Location: Netherlands (Amsterdam/The Hague)
Reports to: Lead Consultant Exploration & Production

The Role:
Overview

  • Candidate will be responsible for carrying out consulting engagements independently.
  • Candidate will translate business issues into IT solutions.
  • Candidate will represent our client's skill set, with a strong focus on delivery and consultancy.

Experience

  • In-depth knowledge of the E&P industry (4-8 years)
  • Track record in oil & gas industry
  • Background in Prod Engineering, Well Engineering or Process Engineering
  • Experience with software such as OSI Pi, Tieto Enator as well as hydrocarbon accounting, metering and automation systems
  • Knowledge of production data stores and warehouses
  • Understanding of the global sourcing / off shoring model
  • Knowledge of Shell environment would be an added advantage
